<\/p>Hyderabad, September 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the CSR implementing arm of Kotak Mahindra Group, is proud to announce the launch of 500 scholarships under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship programme. This marks the programme\u2019s fifth year of empowering meritorious girls from economically disadvantaged section across India to chase their dreams of higher education.\n

With the inspiring motto of \u201cDream it. Chase it. Own it.\u201d, the Kotak Kanya scholarship is a transformative initiative aimed at bridging the gender gap in education. It supports girls pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM, Medicine, Law, Architecture, Design, and other fields at India\u2019s top-ranking NIRF and NAAC-accredited institutions.<\/p>\n

Scholarship highlights:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
1. INR 1,50,000 per scholar, per year for 4\u20135 years<\/p>\n
2. Covers both academic and personal development<\/p>\n
3. Access to mentoring, life skills, and mental well-being sessions<\/p>\n
4. Additional support via Unstop (Engineering) and Marrow (Medical) subscriptions<\/p>\n
5. Scholars from 136 top institutions across India<\/p>\n
Since its inception in 2021, the Kotak Kanya Scholarship has already impacted 1,025 girls across 24 states, including 500 new scholars on boarded in 2024. Beyond financial aid, KEF ensures holistic development through intensive student engagement and finishing school activities.<\/p>\n

1. Holistic School-Based Programs with Students and Educators<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf In Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, and Andhra Pradesh, KEF is driving systemic<\/p>\n
transformation through Project KSHAMATA (Kindling Scholastic Acumen and Mediating Academic and Technological Awareness). This initiative builds the capacity of teachers and school leaders, fosters academic excellence, and promotes all-round student development\u2014aligned with the state curriculum and NEP 2020 goals.<\/p>\n
\u25cf As a key partner in the PM SHRI Schools initiative, KEF is now scaling its FLN program across all 516 PM SHRI schools in Maharashtra. The program uses experiential, play- based, and discovery-oriented pedagogy to make learning engaging and outcome- driven. Every child\u2019s progress is assessed on conceptual understanding and real-world application, creating inclusive, equitable learning environments in line with NEP 2020\u2019s vision of exemplar schools.<\/p>\n
\u25cf In alignment with NIPUN Bharat and SCERT state plans, KEF\u2019s Model School Project promotes 21st-century learning across 21 schools in five Maharashtra districts. The initiative integrates FLN, communicative English, digital solutions, leadership development, and infrastructure enhancement to foster creativity, critical thinking, and future readiness among students.<\/p>\n
2. Equitable Scholarships for Higher Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Kotak Shiksha Nidhi, a compassionate response to the COVID-19 crisis, provides educational continuity to students aged 6\u201322 who lost a parent or primary earning family member.
